REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT-RISK SERVICES FOR FLORENCE HS MEAT PROCESSING LAB PROJECT

The Florence Independent School District is soliciting qualifications from interested firms for Construction Manager At-Risk services pursuant to Texas Government Code Ch. 2269, Subchapter F through a One-Step procurement for its Meat Processing Lab Project at Florence High School. Submissions should be delivered to the following address not later than 2:00 PM CST on April 20, 2026: Florence Independent School District, Attn: Mr. Rick Kirkpatrick, Superintendent, 306 College, Florence, Texas 76527. Responses to this procurement will be opened at the District’s Administrative Offices immediately after the deadline and read aloud. Independent Registered Municipal Advisor Certificate

By publicly posting the following written disclosure (on website): “The Florence Independent School District intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC Municipal Advisor Rule. The Florence Independent School District has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. Florence Independent School District is represented by and will rely on its municipal advisor, Specialized Public Finance, to provide advice on proposals from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities. The individual with primary responsibility for advising Florence on such matters is Jennifer Ritter. This certificate may be relied upon until otherwise withdrawn by us.”
