REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS

FLORENCE ISD      -       2026 HVAC REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter D, Florence ISD is seeking proposals for construction services for its 2026 HVAC Replacement Project. Proposals are due on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 2:00 pm CST at Florence ISD, Attn: Superintendent, 306 College Avenue, Florence, Texas 76527, and proposals will be read aloud at the same location shortly thereafter. O’Connell Robertson & Associates, Inc. is the Architect for the project. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the bid package which contains additional key deadlines and details by contacting Mr. Rick Kirkpatrick, FISD Superintendent, at rkirkpatrick@florenceisd.net, in person at the address above, and the packet may also be downloaded or viewed at the “millerplanroom.com.” There will be no charge for downloading Proposal Documents electronically.

Independent Registered Municipal Advisor Certificate

By publicly posting the following written disclosure (on website): “The Florence Independent School District intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC Municipal Advisor Rule. The Florence Independent School District has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. Florence Independent School District is represented by and will rely on its municipal advisor, Specialized Public Finance, to provide advice on proposals from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities. The individual with primary responsibility for advising Florence on such matters is Jennifer Ritter. This certificate may be relied upon until otherwise withdrawn by us.”
