At the May 16^th Regular meeting of the Florence ISD Board of Trustees, the board approved a 5% General Pay Increase for all FISD employees for the 2022-2023 school year.  This will enable Florence ISD to remain extremely competitive with most area school districts, particularly with regard to teacher pay.  Starting teacher pay for the 2022-2023 school year will be 51,000.  Continuing teachers in FISD will receive a minimum $2,700 increase over last year’s salary.  Step increases for years’ experience are in addition to this amount.  The board and the superintendent remain committed to doing all they can to support FISD employees.
